Tuition for grades K-8 is paid monthly from August through May (ten payments total).  If full tuition is paid by August 1, 2007, a $50 credit will be granted.  No reduction is provided for early payment of nursery, pre-kindergarten, or Mommy, Daddy, and Me tuition.

 

* Affiliated  - One who contributes $350 per calendar year in Our Lady of Lourdes Church envelopes between January 1st and December 31st will be considered affiliated.  Status will change to non-affiliated if this obligation is not met.

 

A Mandatory Fundraising Fee of $200 is included in tuition for grades K-8.  Each family will receive $100 worth of pre-paid chance books for our fall raffle and one $100 ticket for our spring motorcycle raffle.  Families may sell these and keep the money or they may fill them in with their own names and enter them into the raffles.

 

Kindergarten Fee:  This fee is $200 and is charged only to families who have no child registered in grades 1 through 8.  The fee will be credited to 1st grade tuition during the 2008-2009 school year.  The kindergarten fee is billed in ten monthly installments of $20 each.

 

Registration Fee:  There is a $100 registration fee per child in all grades.  This fee includes the cost of religion books, supplies, testing, and student insurance.  It is payable at the time of registration.

 

Other Fees:  Separate fees are charged for First Communion, Confirmation, graduation, band, field trips, the After School Program, and after school activities.

 

PRE-SCHOOL

 

Nursery

 

Two half days per week:

Pre-Kindergarten

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:30 am - 11:00 am or 12:00 noon - 2:30 pm

Five half days per week:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 11:00 am or 12:00 noon - 2:30 pm

Three full days per week:

Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten tuition is payable in (3) installments due August 1st, November 1st, and March 1st.  The registration fee and a snack fee are also charged for students registered in the pre-school.

 

If a family registering a child for nursery or pre-kindergarten is also registering a child in grades kindergarten through eight, the family tuition rates at the top of this page apply.  The nursery/pre-kindergarten child will be considered a "second child" for tuition purposes.

 

Nursery and pre-kindergarten tuition may be deductible for income tax purposes.  Consult your tax advisor.

 

Tuition Payment Policy:  Tuition is due by the first of the month.  If tuition is more than on month overdue, children will not be admitted to class until payment is made.  A reminder will be sent home two weeks beforehand.  Parents facing unforeseen financial difficulties should contact the school office to arrange a special payment plan.  All monies should be sent to school in an envelope marked with the child's name, grade, and the amount and purpose of the money.  To ensure proper credit, please enclose your bill stub with tuition payments.  A $20 charge will be levied for checks that are returned by the bank.

 

Tuition Credits for Families in Grades K-8 Only

 

Lunch Parent Credit:  If a parent serves as a Lunch Parent at least once per month (10 times per year), the family will receive a $100 credit toward tuition during the 2008-2009 school year.  If the family is not registering a student for 2008-2009, a $100 refund will be given in June 2008.

 

School Volunteer Credit:  If a parent gives (10) hours of volunteer service to events sponsored by P.O.L.L. (Parents of Our Lady of Lourdes), $50 will be credited to the May 2008 tuition payment.  If full tuition has already been paid, a $50 refund will be given.

 

Bingo Worker Credit: A credit ranging from $275 to $600 will be applied to a family's tuition account if a parent works at (17) bingo games between June 1, 2007 and May 31, 2008.  Contact the school office for details.
