The goal of our pre-school program is to lay a foundation for future school success by helping young children discover their special qualities and importance in God's creation, feel secure at school, acquire good work habits, and learn to interact cooperatively with peers.

Activities help children grow in cognitive, motor, conceptual, and linguistic skills.  They learn to believe in themselves and to delight in the joy and adventure of learning.

Our pre-school is located in the Our Lady of Lourdes Convent building and offers the following programs for 2007-2008:

Pre-Kindergarten

Three days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or five days per week.  Choose either a full day (8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) or a half day (8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m.).

Carefully designed reading and math readiness programs supplemented with religion, music, art and physical education activities.

Children must be four years old by December 1, 2007.

Nursery

Two or three half days per week (Tuesday and Thursday, or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. - mornings only.

An excellent opportunity for the young child to interact with others in a stimulating, caring environment.

Children must be three years old by December 1, 2007.

Mommy, Daddy & Me

Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

A carefully designed activity program for a young child and his/her parent.  Eleven week sessions begin in fall, winter and spring.

Children must be 18 months to three years of age.
